As a provider you can use the Medipass portal in conjunction with the HICAPS Go app to,

  •  List the location of your practice using the directory service
  •  Create a service enables instant quoting for your business allowing customers to view price of a service and view cost when booking the service
  •  Allow customers to pay for a healthcare service digitally, without the use of a terminal
  •  Save a patients details to recall them easily in the future

At the end of your session, you create your transaction in your Medipass portal and then select ‘Send to patient’s phone.’ You can either select the patient from your list of existing patient’s, or fill out your patient’s details in the fields provided. The patient will then receive a notification inviting them to complete the transaction via the HICAPS Go app (or SMS if they don’t have the HICAPS Go app installed).

Note: we're working with Australian health funds to get them enabled for Medipass claiming. If your patient is still waiting for their fund to come on board, they can check this list of currently enabled funds and sign up here to be notified on when their fund becomes enabled.
