When signing up for a Medipass account, you will need to add your private health insurance card details to approve a transaction. This includes the card issue date.
If you're with Medibank, the card issue date will be on the front of your card, at the bottom right-hand corner.
Some newer Medibank cards don't have the card issue date listed on them.
If your card does not have the card issue date, your issue date will be 1 or 2 days after your policy start date, give both dates a try. Your policy start date is emailed to you when you sign up to Medibank. We understand that this is super confusing, however, it is still a required field for us when processing Medibank claims.
