At the end of your session create your Medicare transaction, fill out your patient's Medicare details and select "Send to patient's mobile." For more information on creating a patient funded Medicare claim refer to this article.
Once the transaction is sent to your patient, they will receive an SMS with a link to the transaction.
The link will take your patient to their Medipass portal where they can view the transaction and fill out their payment details.
The patient can also save their details for later. This will create a Medipass account for them, which will allow them to complete transactions more easily in the future.
The transaction is only complete when the patient has approved the payment from their phone. It will say payment made, and the status in your Medipass portal will change to approved.
