When creating a Medicare payment request, you have the option to submit the claim part of the payment separately, if the payment has already been taken.
This allows you to take your customers payment on the spot before they leave your practice and process the claim later on.
When creating a payment request for Medicare, select “Payment has already been collected, just process Medicare claim.”
Fill out your claim details; practice, provider, customer, referral and service provided. Then select the submit claim button.
