You might be wondering why you can't cancel a bulk bill claim like you can for patient claims. This is because it's not something Medicare supports. The process for cancelling a bulk bill claim is to contact the eBusiness line on 1800 700 199.
In most cases, you will need to provide them with the following information:
- Your Location ID/Minor ID (This can be found in the "Practice" tab for the practice that the bulk bill was raised for)
- Servicing provider number for the claim
- Practice address
- Medicare Transaction ID
- Date of service
