If your HICAPS provider number/s are displaying as "pending" in your Medipass portal, you will not yet be able to process a private health invoice via Medipass. The staff details will look like this:

There are a few things that you can check first:

  1. Have you registered with HICAPS for the use of HICAPS Go?  To use HICAPS Go, you'll need to apply directly with HICAPS for use of this facility. To sign up to the HICAPS Go Provider Facility, click here. Please be aware if you are already using HICAPS terminal, you will still need to register for use of HICAPS Go. 
  2. Has is been 5 working days since you registered for HICAPS Go? It can take around 5 working days for HICAPS to set up your details. Once HICAPS have set up your details from their end, they will then pass your details to us and we will get you set up and enabled in Medipass. We receive all new provider details from HICAPS once a day in a secure file. Please be aware that we cannot enable your provider number until we receive your details directly from HICAPS. It can take our team 1-2 days to then get you enabled in Medipass. 
  3. Are you unsure if you submitted an application for HICAPS Go? If you are unsure of the application details you've submitted to HICAPS, the very best thing to do is to speak to the HICAPS team directly.   4. Have you registered for HICAPS Go and you want to check the status of your application? Medipass is unable to view the status of your application.
