Medipass supports claiming and payments for locum providers as per the Medicare Benefits Schedule rules on provider numbers - click here for more information.

If you are allowed to use a provider number allocated to a different location, you can set up a locum provider in the same way you would add a provider to a location - click here for instructions.

When processing claims or payments, a locum provider will work exactly the same as any other provider - within the rules set by Medicare - so there's no changes to the Medipass workflow.
