Everyone who downloads and sets up the HICAPS Go app creates a Medipass patient account. As a practitioner, when you create a quote or a payment, you send it to one of those patient accounts.
When you search for a patient for the first time to send them a quote or claim, you'll need to enter their full phone number or email address.
Once a patient has approved a claim or booked an appointment with you through the mobile app, an "established relationship" between the patient and your business is formed. An established relationship means they'll appear in the "Patients" section of your portal where you can see their contact details and you'll be able to search for them more easily when creating a claim or a quote.
