In certain circumstances, the patient will not be the one to receive the Medicare rebate. The most common example would be if the patient is a minor. Here is how you would submit a Medicare patient claim with claimant details.

When prompted with "Who will claim the MBS benefit", select "Someone else". This will allow you to enter the claimant's details.
