From time to time, you may want to apply a discount to your patient's payment. Once you've entered the initial details of a payment, click "Add discount".
Click on the $ box to expose the drop down menu, and select whether you want to apply a discount of a dollar value or percentage of the total. For example, to take $20 off the price, click the dollar sign and enter in $20.00, then click Continue.
Check that all the details are correct, and click "Create payment request". Once the payment has been created you will see the $20.00 has been removed from the cost of the appointment.
