When processing a private health insurance claim, an accompanying patient gap payment is often also required at the same time. We have designed Medipass to make this a seamless experience, while ensuring service providers have comfort this gap payment is not missed.
Therefore, in order to process a Medipass Health Insurance claim, a business is required to have enabled Medipass Card Payments (MCP). MCP will enable businesses to process Visa and MasterCard debit and credit card payments, all within the Medipass Health Insurance claim flow.

Alternatively, if you are comfortable enabling your clients to not pay the gap via Medipass, and you will manage gap payments directly, you can enable ‘Pay in Person’ functionality. You can learn more about how to enable this here.
